The Joy of Self-publishing

The joy of self-publishing (besides working with my husband and being able to write what I want to write) is being able to make changes. If something isn’t working, change it!

The co-writer in one of my series decided to go in another direction. Fine with me. I then had the chance to take another look at each of my books. I revised them, and then sent them to my editor for another look. It’s surprising how a fresh edit will improve a story. Oh, and the sharp red pen of an excellent editor!

I bought new covers to consistently rebrand the books as a new series. Then my husband published the series on eBook sites for me. All three books are on Kindle Unlimited for a limited time.

Since her husband’s tragic death in a riding accident, Liz Dawson has done all she can to keep the Six Buckles Guest Ranch running. When a handsome stranger arrives at the ranch, she fears her daughter-in-law is playing matchmaker. Liz has already been married to two different men—one wonderful and one not so much. She doesn’t need another man in her life.
